Emergency Service
Valley Veterinary Hospital is associated with four other local veterinary hospitals in Fredericton. This comprises the Greater Fredericton Pet Emergency Service, providing 24 hour emergency service, 365 days a year. Simply call our hospital at 452-1117 and you will be referred to the doctor on call.
Hospital Admission
Pets coming into the hospital may be admitted between 7:30 and 8:45 AM the morning of the surgery or dropped off the previous evening between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. No pet should have food after 10:00 PM on the night before surgery. All pets must be up to date on regular vaccinations in order to protect them against preventable infectious diseases. To minimize the chances of mishaps, we ask that you keep your pet on a leash, or in a carrier when in the reception area. The receptionist will be happy to provide a leash free of charge if you do not have one.
