Female Fertility

We can assess your female dog's fertility by pre-breeding testing for Brucellosis as required, progesterone and LH Timing for ovulation and parturition, pregnancy monitoring, Caesarian sections, and pediatric care for puppies after they are born. We can provide vaccinations, deworming, and health plans for your individual pups.

We can inseminate your dog vaginally or via intrauterine surgical inseminations. The surgical inseminations are done on an as needed basis depending on the timing of your female. With this option your dog is under general anesthesia and we directly deposit the sperm into each horn of her uterus. This provides the maximum amount of contact between the sperm and the mature ova. The dogs are usually up and able to go home about one hour after surgery.

We also offer long term, on site storage, as well as shipping and receiving semen.

As a specialty service we also offer chilled semen collections and inseminations.

Please call our office for pricing information or if you are looking to set up appointments for any of the above services. We would be happy to assist you in any way we can!

(Male Fertility)

We can assess your male dog's fertility by collecting and evaluating his semen. We assess, color, quantity as well as quality of the semen. The sample can then be inseminated into a female dog or can be chilled and shipped to another location for insemination. Other services for the male dog include hip and elbow certification, Brucellosis testing, and on-site frozen semen storage.
