Brenda has numerous responsibilities as office manager, but greeting clients who have become friends, is her favorite. If you don't see her when you come in, you can be sure that she is not far away, ensuring that your experience at Valley Veterinary Hospital is a positive one.

Brenda and her husband, Dwight, have 2 daughters, Angela (a previous employee of VVH), and Amanda. She also has two cats named Sysco and Solara.

Shawn Stairs joined our team February 2001 and has become a familiar face since then as our receptionist. She is a joy to have around due to her quick wit and zest for life. Sandra Demerchant is our Veterinary Assistant and she joined us in February of 2004. You will usually find her helping other staff with their daily tasks. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, Peter, and their daughter Bailey.

Rounding out their little family are dogs, Rusty , and Daisy the cat.

Rose (grey & white) has been with us since Sept 2003. She’s very friendly and loves to sleep where it’s warm or beside Jake. Jake (tabby) came in the summer of 2002. He’s a big, friendly, loveable guy who is usually found in his own chair. Because these 2 can get themselves into trouble, we’ve had to add a gate to our food room to keep them from helping themselves.”
