Valley Veterinary Hospital
About Us
Who We Are
At Valley Veterinary Hospital, Fredericton, NB, we are all pet owners too. Our pets are important parts of our families so we care for your pets like they're our own!
Since we opened in 1985, our mission has been to take veterinary care to the next level and to serve animals by advocating for their health. Preventative care and treating each pet as an individual are parts of our strategies to accomplish this.
We have an up-to-date facility with modern technology, equipment, and an on-site lab. We are always trying to be innovative to help make your pet healthier, happier and pain-free.

Happy, Healthy Pets
Dogs and cats (and other pets too!) age far faster than people so significant changes in your pet’s health can happen in a short time.
We recommend that healthy adult dogs and cats visit us once a year. Puppies, kittens, senior pets, and pets with health issues or illnesses need more frequent checkups. These visits to the doctor can make all the difference in diagnosing diseases and conditions early – when they’re easier to treat or manage. Often, we can actually help prevent diseases entirely, just by ensuring your pet has received appropriate vaccinations and preventatives! We ensure your pet is always protected and appropriately vaccinated but never over-vaccinated.
We’ll always work with you to create an appropriate wellness program, including a vaccination and prevention protocol that works for you and your pet. The key to a healthy and happy pet – and pet parent – is working together with your veterinarian.
